Gulf Coast VA to recognize former Prisoners of War/Missing in Action

BILOXI, Miss. – The Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System will hold its annual National POW/MIA Recognition Day event at 11 a.m. Sept. 21. Media representatives are invited to cover the event.

This event will take place in the Biloxi VA Medical Center’s Chapel, Building 1.  The GCVHCS is located 400 Veterans Ave.

Among the event’s highlights are: patriotic songs will be sung, a Missing Man Table presentation, a Missing in Action Tribute, and more. Living former POWs and/or spouses from the region will be in attendance.
