GCVHCS Panama City Beach clinics to resume operations

The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System’s Outpatient Clinics in Panama City Beach, Florida, will resume normal operations on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Veterans with regularly scheduled appointments will be seen in both locations (Magnolia Avenue and R Jackson) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

A temporary VA mobile clinic has also been established in Panama City at the Walmart located at:

513 W. 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405.  Services available include primary care, pharmacy, and mental health



The Nationwide Pharmaceutical Disaster Network Plan Process for Hurricane Michael has been activated effective Tuesday, 10/9/18 until Monday, 10/15/18 for the Eglin, Panama City, and Mobile Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) aligned with Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare Care Systems (GCVHCS).

Please note that the date may be extended barring weather conditions; additional guidance will be provided if this occurs. 

Patient Criteria for re-filling medications during this National Disaster are:

1. Present with empty VA prescription vial to any retail pharmacy (Publix, Walgreens, CVS, etc).  The vial must not be older than 90 days, and it must indicate there are refills available.
2. Or, take a new prescription (written on the CPRS printed  non-VA med print out) to any retail pharmacy.
3. Present a valid VA ID Card that confirms that the Veteran is to whom the vial or prescription belongs.
