The recipient of this award is chosen by the Patient Satisfaction Committee.
U.S. Air Force Veteran Charlie Cagle served 1,072 hours and walked over 300 miles helping Veterans navigate through our health care system. He further enhanced the Veteran experience by reaching out to Lowes and asking them to provide a Christmas tree for our Veterans and families to enjoy. Not only was he successful in getting them to donate their largest tree in stock, but they also threw in some decorations. Mr. Cagle enjoys decorating the tree for the multiple occasions he decorates for: Christmas, Mardis Gras and July 4th. In recognition of this accomplishment, the Ambassador of the Year receives the following:
- An engraved plaque
- Picture displayed on the GCVHCS website for one year with name, title and service
- Picture and write-up posted to Facebook
Mr. Cagle was also featured in the VISN 16 Guide Book. Please take the time to congratulate Mr. Cagle when you see him, and thank him for his faithful commitment and dedication to the Ambassador Program.
