- DAV Van Drivers
- Help pick-up outpatients receiving chemotherapy, dialysis, radiation therapy, and other outpatient appointments. To fill this role, you must have a current drivers license and automobile insurance and pass a physical exam. Hours-Flexible.
- Information Desk Volunteer
- Help patients and visitors with information and clinic locations. Hours: Flexible
- Parking Shuttle Cart Drivers
- Help outpatients in our large parking areas with access to the medical center. To fill this role, you must have a current drivers license. Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, or 12:00 noon - 3:30 p.m.
- Volunteer Office Assistant
- Help different medical or administrative offices in the medical center. Duties include filing, answering phones, and greeting and directing patients. Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, or 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
- Coffee Greeter
- Serve coffee and greet veterans in the primary care clinic. Hours: 7:00am-9:30am. Flexible days.
- Recreation Assistant
- Provide assistance pushing patients in wheelchairs to scheduled activities. Hours: Based on activity. Flexible
- Bingo Assistant.
- Assist in implementing a weekly bingo game and assist veterans in experiencing success. Hours: As scheduled
- Craft Assistant.
- Assist the craft care specialist in handing out craft kits and assist the hospitalized veterans with their crafts. Hours:Varies
- Computer Assistant.
- Assist veterans with the use of My Healthe Vet online program. Hours: Flexible
- Patient Visitor.
- Visit with veterans. May read books, magazines, and newspaper articles to the patients. May also assist with trips to the canteen, or with outside walks. Hours: Flexible
- Comfort Item Distribution
- Deliver comfort items to hospitalized veterans on various inpatient wards. Hours: Flexible
