More than 200 women veterans in Okaloosa and Bay Counties in Florida enjoyed themselves at the health fairs conducted by staff members of the Eglin and Panama City Community Based Outpatient Clinics on Sept. 24.

Each staff also had community-based vendors on hand to provide health care and wellness information.

"We received a lot of excellent feed¬back from the women who came out," Cindie "Hope" Summers, Panama City CBOC nurse manager, said. "They really enjoyed themselves and are already looking forward to attending next year."

Approximately 70 miles west of Panama City at the Eglin CBOC, the feedback received by Eglin's staff was a carbon copy of what women experienced in Panama City.

"It was a packed house, but every¬thing was great," Lucy Martin, Eglin CBOC nurse manager, said.

Both nurse managers thank all community vendors, VA nurses and other staff members for making this year's health fair events a success.
