EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, FL – The Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System continues its push to inform women veterans of health care services available to them by sponsoring a Women Veterans Health Fair event on September 30, 2011.

The fair will be held at the Eglin Community-Based Outpatient Clinic from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The Eglin CBOC is located at 100 Veterans Way, along north Eglin Parkway.

At this event, various health care services and information from the Eglin CBOC and local community vendors will be available to women veterans.  A free basic health screening, including blood pressure checks, dietician consultation and mental health services are among the services that will be available. There will also be door prizes and refreshments, massages and makeovers.

Veterans who have not yet enrolled for VA health care should bring proper identification and their DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, or other official military service records.

For more information about the fair, call Tara Pakiz, Jay Faulkner or Yolanda Moffett at 850-609-2785.
